I am a Research Assistant in the CAMY group, working with Dr Eleanor Leigh, and recently completed my MSci in Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Oxford.
My main project involves co-designing a practical toolkit to help secondary school teachers recognise and support young people experiencing social anxiety. Building on my summer internship funded by the Van Houten Fund, I work with teachers, young people and mental health professionals to develop accessible videos and accompanying resources. The project involves collaboration with the WISDOM Research Network to ensure the toolkit reflects teachers’ needs and young people’s experiences.
I also contribute to other CAMY projects, including research on social anxiety and classroom concentration and a systematic review of anhedonia in young people. My research interests include youth mental health, participatory research and improving access to support within educational settings.
